Smith College and Sweat Free Communities screened the documentary "Made in L.A." last night. The packed 120 seat auditorium, filled with 5 College students and community members, was moved to laughter and tears by the inspiring story of 3 seamstresses organizing workers in Los Angeles sweatshops providing clothing for the clothing store of Forever 21.
I highly, highly recommend this documentary. It is beautifully made, moving and universal.
